Day 1 :- Bhubaneswar – Konark – Puri
Pickup from Bhubaneswar airport or railway station and drive to Puri. On the way visit the famous Sun Temple which is the perfect example of Kalinga architecture. Sun Temple is hailed as one of the architectural marvels of India and a UNESCO world heritage site . Also visit Chandrabhaga beach , Ramchandi Beach . Here you may enjoy water sports here like surfing, water skiing , boating etc. Reach Puri and Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. After darshan, return to the hotel or enjoy at Puri beach. Overnight stay.
Day 2 :- Sri Jagannath Temple – Satapada/Chilika Lake – Puri
Morning Proceed for darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple. It is one of the Char Dham (Holiest of the holy places) in India. It was built by Anantavarman Chodaganga ( 1077 – 1150CE), Spread over 4,00,000 square feet , the world famous temple stands on a 10 acre elevated Stone Platform . After visiting Jagannath ji you may also visit Gundicha Temple- Lords jaggannth’s Aunt’s House . ( Note – Phones and cameras are not allowed in the Temple premises. ). After the temples visit , drive to Satapada. In local language Satapada means the group of seven villages. It is located on the southern part of the Chilika Lake. Enjoy sightseeing in Satapada. Chilka is famous for Irwadi Dolphins. It is also the home of several exotic birds and animals.It is considered to be the largest lagoon in India and counted amongst the largest lagoons on earth. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake which takes you to the dolphin view point and Tiger mouth Island – confluence of Chilika and Bay of Bengal. Evening return to Puri and enjoy at Golden Beach which one the famous and longest beach . Overnight stay.
Day 3 :- Puri – Bhubneshwar
After breakfast enjoy few moments Puri beach and then drive to Bhubneshwar. En-route visit Dhauli ( the Peace pagoda), Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Parshurameshwaram. Also Visit Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves (oldest rock cut caves, the caves arijjre reminiscent of the influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha (Orissa).
Day 4 :- Bhubaneswar Departure
After breakfast visit local Nandankanan Zoo (This zoo is famous for variety wild life sanctuary & also famous for white Tiger & Lion Safari (Closed On Monday), Tribal museum (Closed On Monday) then free time for shopping.In time drop at the airport or railway station with sweet memories of your trip.
