Sikkim Delight – 5 N 6 D

Day 1: Bagdogra – Gangtok 

Pick up from Bagdogra airport/ railway station and drive to Gangtok, Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim. It is a charming and silent destination with one of the best monasteries and landscapes. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure or you want explore famous MG Marg if time permits. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Gangtok -­ Tsomgo Lake -­ Baba Mandir Excursion

After breakfast  go for an excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir which is nearly 40 kilometers / 2 hrs approx. Tsomgo Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep -­ Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all -­Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is optional tour – Later in the evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note –Nathula will be done on supplement cost . Nathula permit gets confirmed 24 hrs prior to the journey date & it is subjected to permit availability . Nathula is closed on Monday & Tuesday for tourists. Organizing the permit at the last moment is not possible & a clear window of 72 Hrs with proper documents is required to process the permit. 4 Passport Size Photograph & photo proof identity is required to process the permit .Permit once done done will be non-refundable ,whatsoever reason  reason may be ( Like Personal / Landslide, Heavy rainfall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc)

Day 3: Gangtok Half Day Sightseeing & Transfer to Pelling

After breakfast, enjoy half day Gangtok Sightseeing. Visit Bakthang Falls, Enchey Monastery, Do DrulChorten and the Institute of Tibetology, which has the largest collection of Tibetan manuscripts and books on Buddhist philosophy. Afternoon drive to Pelling. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Rangeet River Valley on the way.  Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling is a very tiny Himalayan Town in West Sikkim. Pelling is also the nearest motorable point to Mt. Kanchendzonga( World’s 3rd highest peak ) offers a good sunrise along with view of the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Pelling Half Day Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling

After breakfast enjoy Pelling Half day sightseeing .Visit Pelling skywalk, Rimbi Falls, Kanchenjunga Falls, Khecheopalri Lake etc. After visit take a leisurely drive to Darjeeling – One of the most spectacular Hill station in India. Darjeeling is famous for its snow capped peaks of Kanchenjunga, Lush green Tea gardens, Word’s Heritage Toy Train  etc. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Evening relax at hotel or roam around at Mall road. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Darjeeling

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Afternoon, go for a half-­‐day sightseeing tour of Padwaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gumbo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-­‐Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Overnight at Darjeeling Hotel.

Day 6: Darjeeling–Bagdogra

After breakfast drop at Bagdogra airport or railway station with sweet memories of your trip.
