Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati -Nameri National Park – Bhalukpong

Pick up from Guwahati Airport or railway station and drive to Bhalukpong. Bhalukpong  is a small unexplored tourist destination gifted with the stunning mountains and forest. It lies on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. It is famous for the archaeological ruins of King Bhaluka who was the grandfather of King Bana of Mahabharata fame. En-­route visit Nameri National Park. Also enjoy the spectacular view of Kameng River. Arrive Bhalukpong and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 2: Bhalukpong -Dirang

After breakfast, drive to Dirang – a tiny hill station in west Kameng district. Its spectacular landscape and soothing Beauty will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. Visit Kalachakra Gompa also referred to as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land. Witness kiwi orchids, then go to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and has an excellent view of the surrounding. Upon arrival at Dirang, check into the hotel. In the evening you are free to visit the hot water spring, regional sheep farm, Sangti and Yak Research Center. Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 3: Dirang – Sela Pass – Tawang

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Tawang . Enroute enjoy the scenic Sela Pass, the only way that connects Tawang to the rest of the country. Besides its geographical significance, Sela Pass is a wonderful place always covered in snow providing some stunning sights of the eastern Himalayan range.  Reach Tawang and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Tawang – Pangateng Tso Lake – Madhuri Lake – Bumla Pass – Tawang (Optional)

After breakfast, enjoy the breathtaking view of Shonga-­tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-­capped mountains and the valleys offer a spectacular view. Later, proceed to Bum La Pass about 40 kms away from Tawang. It is the indo-­china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake, which will surely make your day. After this, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Tawang. (Madhuri Lake & Bumla Pass tour could be done at additional cost).

Day 5: Tawang Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast, visit Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse). It is Asia’s second largest and India’s largest Buddhist Monastery which was built about 350 years ago in the 17th Century. Explore age old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery and Mompa people of Tawang.

Get a picturesque view of Tawang Township in the heart of sky-­‐piercing Mountains. Then we proceed on to The Tawang War Memorial, an attractive stupa built in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1962 Sino-­Indian war. Later enjoy a short trek  to BramdungchungAniGomap, which is the abode of nuns and the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang.

You can also enjoy shopping at Craft Centre Emporium. Buy local carpet woven by local ladies, and Mompa traditional mask as a memory of this unique destination. In the Evening, enjoy light and sound shows. After a full day of exploration, drive back to the hotel in Tawang . Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bomdila. Visit Bomdila Monastery, which was established in the year of 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid varieties including some rarest species of orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day, en-­route to airport drop. In Bomdila, have a spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, witness impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the evening, enjoy at the local market. Later return to your hotel in Bomdila. Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 7: Bomdila – Guwahati

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Guwahati with sweet memories of your Arunachal-Pradesh Tour Package
